We came up with the idea for V4A castors due to the increased demand for pool covers in recent years.
More and more customers wanted a reliable material that was also resistant to pool water containing chlorine or salt. At first, we tried using V2A rollers, which works in itself, but even here, so-called "flash rust" can form. This has no effect on the functionality of the rollers and rails, but after a certain time it no longer looks nice.
When we searched the market for V4A track rollers, we noticed that there was no such thing in sufficient quality on our market. Therefore, we decided to have them manufactured ourselves, according to our quality standards. The result is our new castors in stainless steel V4A and the feedback from our customers proves us right: many have been waiting for something like this.
However, since V4A is more difficult to machine than, for example, V2A, it is not (yet) possible to manufacture running rails from V4A in the desired quality. Therefore, we have decided to produce running rails made of anodised aluminium instead. Since this material has almost the same material quality as V4A, the V4A track rollers and the anodised aluminium tracks fit together perfectly.
In combination, they can be used to construct pool decks, but also floor-guided sliding gates in marine regions, which can easily withstand salt and chlorine.
Some advantages of the V4A track rollers in combination with the anodised aluminium track at a glance:
- Compared to V2A, V4A has an additional alloy with 2 % molybdenum
- Track rollers are equipped with double ball bearings and have a high load capacity
- Highly resistant to salt and chlorine
- Perfect for use on pool covers or gates in marine areas
- Track rollers are available in different sizes and with different mounting types
- The anodised aluminium runners can be easily connected to each other by means of a central hole and extended individually with the help of special connecting pins.
